Prevention

The goal of the Fire Marshal’s Division is to insure the safety of our residents and the safety of those who work in and visit our district.

The Fire Marshal’s Division is headed by Assistant Chief Mark Boehle.

In addition to Chief Boehle, the division employs one full-time building inspector/plan reviewer. The Fire Marshal directs four primary programs of the Cottleville Fire Protection District. These programs include: code compliance, inspection services, plan review, and investigations. Annually, the Fire Marshal’s Office issues nearly 500 permits, performs over 500 plan reviews, and completes nearly 1500 inspections.

About Us

More than 2,500 times every year the firefighter/EMTs of the Cottleville Fire Protection District respond to emergency calls from residents of Cottleville, Weldon Spring, Dardenne Prairie, St. Peters, and O’Fallon, Missouri. The District covers 38-square miles of southwestern St. Charles County and operates four fire stations. Firefighters respond to a variety of emergency situations including fires, hazardous materials incidents, motor vehicle accidents and medical emergencies.
