2015 MDA Boot Drive

August 13, 2015

MDA collection

Cottleville Firefighters have kicked of this year’s annual IAFF/Muscular Dystrophy Association Boot drive. Our firefighters will be out on the streets on selected evenings and weekends through the month September asking for contributions for this worthy cause. Look for us at Mid Rivers Mall Drive, at the entrance into the Target and Dierbergs Plaza. Please come on out and help support this cause.

The International Asscoiations of Firefighters efforts for MDA include the organization’s spirited Fill the Boot campaign, in which fire fighters hit the streets where they ask pedestrians, motorists and other passers-by to contribute – money in the boot – for MDA. Fire fighters also devote countless hours every year at MDA Summer Camp sessions around the country, where thousands of children with neuromuscular disease experience a week where anything is possible while gaining confidence and independence – all at no cost to their families.
