Forcible Entry Operations. The class was presented by the Brotherhood Instructors LLC from the Kansas City Missouri, “Midwest Division”. http://www.brotherhoodinstructors.com/ This class was hosted by the Wentzville Fire Protection District.
Firefighters from the surrounding metropolitan area that included the, Wentzville Fire Protection District, O’Fallon Fire Protection District, St. Charles City Fire Department, Lake St. Louis Fire Protection District, Monarch Fire Protection District and the Pattonville Fire Protection District also attended this training.
In this class firefighters learned techniques for forcing inward and outward opening doors while working in many challenging situations. The class also covered the use of powered saws, torches and other tools for overcoming different locks, bars and other security devices used to protect homes and businesses found in our District.
This type of training is essential to keep our Firefighters up to date and proficient in these necessary modern day required skills, and rescue techniques.
