Chris Niemczyk and Jamie Faust attended an advanced, “Auto Extrication” training class in Dayton Ohio last year. The class focused on 10 different skill stations. This training course used nearly 200 donated wrecked cars and trucks for the nearly 200 firefighters that had participated from all across the country. This advance class covered a variety of newly developed, and highly skilled auto extrication methods that are a must know for today’s modern day vehicles. These newly learned methods were then brought back to the Fire District where they were taught to all of the Fire crews. Special thanks goes out to: A&A Towing for use of their salvage yard and the (6) vehicles that they provide for us for our training, in addition, we would like to thank, Kolb Grading for helping us to position these vehicles into place with the use of their heavy equipment. Having business partners helping us, makes it easier for us to serve our community!
